the best of Stephen King among those i ever read.(THE DARK TOWER is not included,it's not a story of terror, and it means sth more to me.)
i have to admit that Stephen King had never horrify me before, though i love his books.i just love the way he telling the story, fluently, with no hesitation.
but Carrie is not the same.honestly i should say, this is my first time to read King's book originally.and it is really horrific, terrific, even made me feel sick.at some levels,i can even say that i'm so scared, too scared to read it at night.
it was warm, before i knew the final ending.King cruelly told the end of the story in those excerpted stuffs, and it made me feel sooooo sad.i had thought Carrie White would have a better life after the prom, maybe with Tommy or maybe become a friend of Sue or so.but we all knew that Thomas would horribly dead at the prom night.
however,i really had no idea of the great destruction of the town, the whole town.and all these were because of Carrie's most religious Momma, and of course, because of Chris also.
somehow i felt Chris and Billy were forced by sth.i almost thought Chris would stop the lavatorial joke, thought we all knew what would happened at last.
i should said exactly that Stephen King's works are not literature at all.but King is not a 'businessman' at all.he's just a teller,a relater, tells us the story peacefully and patiently.but we both read in great dread.
TK phenomina are still keeping changing people's lives...find yourself a peace day to read this book, but remember not to let it trap you.
